Lamont Brown is a dynamic NYC-based performer originally from Long Island. A graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), he is a proud Capezio Athlete and O’Mara Floor Ambassador. His career bridges the gap between rhythmic precision and narrative storytelling, taking him across the globe to work with industry titans including Tony Goldwyn, Savion Glover, Susan Stroman, Warren Carlyle, Casey Nicholaw, Randy Skinner, and Joshua Bergasse.

Now SAG-AFTRA Eligible, Lamont’s recent credits include the world premiere of Chez Joey at Arena Stage, Guys and Dolls at Shakespeare Theatre Company, and the developmental lab for Disney’s Hercules. He is also the co-creator and star of the award-winning new musical Syncopated Avenue.
